For medical students and doctors in India: daily practice, and the UK content map
Indian MBBS students follow a competency-based curriculum of at least four and a half years, then a compulsory rotating internship. Whatever comes next, a national exam or a move abroad, a daily habit of clinical questions keeps every subject warm.
Exams at home
NEET PG remains the postgraduate entrance exam, and the planned National Exit Test (NExT) has not yet replaced it. Check the National Medical Commission for the current position before you plan around either. WardRun is not built for NEET PG or NExT, so use a bank made for those exams for that.
If you are considering the UK
International doctors who want to join the UK medical register take PLAB, which the GMC says meets its Medical Licensing Assessment requirements. UK graduates and international doctors are assessed on the same set of topics, set out in the MLA content map.
Be clear-eyed about jobs. Under the UK's Medical Training (Prioritisation) Act 2026, Foundation Programme places go first to UK graduates and then to a small priority group, before graduates of Indian medical schools.
