Terms of Service

Version 2.1 · Last updated 22 May 2026

These terms govern your use of WardRun (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

WardRun is operated by Med Services Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14915054), registered office 52A Cherwell Street, Oxford, OX4 1BG. Contact: playwardrun@gmail.com.

2. What WardRun is — and is not

WardRun is an educational revision tool for UK medical students. Questions are written to help you practise clinical reasoning against the UKMLA blueprint.

WardRun is not medical advice and is not a medical device. Nothing in the Service is intended for use in real patient care. Content is simplified for teaching and may omit detail that would be clinically important. Do not rely on WardRun for any clinical decision. See our Medical Disclaimer.

3. No guarantee of exam success

WardRun is designed as one part of a varied revision strategy. We do not guarantee, promise, or warrant that using WardRun will result in passing any examination (including the UKMLA, finals, or any other assessment), achieving any particular score, or securing any training post.

Examination outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including your prior knowledge, study habits, use of other resources, clinical experience, and the content of the examination itself. You accept that your results are your responsibility.

4. Accounts

5. Subscriptions and payment

6. Intellectual property and the question bank

All content on WardRun — questions, distractors, explanations, facts, illustrations, UI, code, and the overall compilation of the question bank — is owned by Med Services Ltd or licensed to us, and protected by copyright, database rights (including the UK sui generis database right under the Copyright and Rights in Databases Regulations 1997), and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the Service for your own revision. You must not:

Breach of this clause is a breach of contract and may also infringe our database rights and copyright. We reserve the right to seek damages and injunctive relief.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: attempting to gain unauthorised access; interfering with other users' accounts; uploading malicious code; overloading our infrastructure; or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

8. User-generated content

If you submit feedback, flagged questions, or other content to us, you grant Med Services Ltd a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use that content to improve the Service. Do not submit anything confidential or anything that infringes a third party's rights.

9. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (e.g. Supabase, Stripe), or force majeure events may cause downtime.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

11. Privacy

See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your personal data.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make a material change we will notify you by email or in-app and require you to re-accept before continuing to use the Service. The current version is shown at the top of this page.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
